For the upcoming All-Star Weekend in Chicago, Jordan Brand is commemorating the everlasting image of Michael’s leap from the free-throw line with the release of a special Air Jordan 3 Retro. You may already be aware of this flip of the original with a bold “Varsity Red” donning the tumbled leather upper, but the Jumpman has fashioned a special iteration exclusively for the Windy City by way of an alternate city-specific back-tab logo. Replacing the “NIKE AIR” on the heel is a “NIKE CHI” logo, further establishing the overhanging theme of “For Chicago, By Chicago” set forth by the brand for this All-Star capsule. Again, this limited variation of the Air Jordan 3 Retro SE will be exclusive to Chicago, so stay tuned for release updates.
