The Nike Air Max Scorpion Sets Its Sights On Traversing Outdoor Trails_Stroll and Speak Boldly

As one of the brand’s most polarizing efforts within its Air-infused archives, the September debut of the Nike Air Max Scorpion has since seen a bountiful number of offerings. Tooled for long walks through concrete jungles and various training regimens, the overtly puffed-up proposition now looks to the construction and hues most widely associated with the brand’s ACG lineup.

Casting the entirety of its Flyknit base in a light cream tincture, the chosen palette comes ready to explore the great outdoors with dark chocolate stitched Swooshes while a strip of “Vachatta” leather consumes both the heel’s pull tabs and stitched-0n tongue branding. Furthering its All Climate Gear roots, a multi-color houndstooth detailing assumes atop the oval laces threaded through bright blue lace loops while accompanied by color-matched miniature Swooshes and a branded carabiner. Resuming the luminous sky-harkened hue across the insoles and both the tip and heel of the tread underfoot, the pink and cream gradient-infused midsole receives an onslaught of golden speckles while the trail-ready sole unit injects a sea of blue within the full-length Max Air unit underneath.
