Germany’s 43einhalb Is Giving Away A Mercedes 190E “Infrared Benz” To Celebrate Air Max III Launch_Stroll and Speak Boldly

Few sneakers in history have had the cultural and street fashion influence as the Air Max III, so with the return of the “Radiant Red” aka Air Max III “Infrared”, we’ve seen a variety of honorary tributes of this re-issue set for by shops and sneakerheads alike. However, few have Germany’s 43einhalb beat because they’re revving up for one of most unthinkable activations of the year.

At the center of their latest project is the convening of three 1990s icons – the Air Max III, German rap legend Kool Savas, and the Mercedes Benz 190E 1.8. Working closely with German tuning specialists JP Performance, 43einhalb has transformed the grail-status car, applying racy lines and colors mimicking the Tinker Hatfield-design sneaker. Topping it off is a chrome-looking hood ornament that sees the sneaker silhouette above the grill.

Here’s the crazy part: 43einhalb has plans to give away this car. They have yet to disclose full details, but you can stay tuned to their social channels like their Instagram to stay in the loop. We’ve seen giveways of sneakers and other grand prizes, but a pristine Mercedes 190E 1.8 let alone a car is unprecedented.
