Mike and Sully Scare Their Way Onto A New adidas Stan Smith_Stroll and Speak Boldly

Within the intersection of footwear and film includes adidas and Disney’s sustained partnership, which has yielded a handful of creative sneakers that reference fan-favorite franchises. Two of the world’s biggest brand names keep the teamwork going as they prepare to release another Monsters Inc.-themed adidas Stan Smith.

This Mike and Sully-inspired style acts as an addition to adidas and Disney’s ongoing collection of Stan Smiths that celebrate iconic Disney duos. While a previously revealed Monsters Inc.-informed tennis shoe covers the entirety of the uppers in faux fur to mimic Sully, the upcoming pair opts for a much more understated approach. Each shoe sports a white Primegreen upper that features either Mike or Sully printed on the tongue. Their names are also embossed on the sides where the “STAN SMITH” text would usually be. In honor of Wazowski, the heel tabs are tinted green. This leaves the sockliner and eyelets in an aqua and purple reminiscent of his friend. Additionally, the offering comes with lace dubraes that demonstrate the duo’s screaming mouths in reference to their days on the Scare Floor. Insoles and a special box that features graphics of the two characters complete the Disney-themed arrangement.
